TALWINDER JIT SINGH SAHI

About Sahi

I am well known as TJ SAHI in my basketball Field. It is my Passion to Excel in this Field. Today I have achieved every major High level Medal and Awards in my Country, but that’s not the Boundary towards Achieving my Lifetime Goal. Basketball had a Wide Scope. I would prefer to Explore more in Sports field as there is a Bright room

TJ SAHI is a International Basketball Player who represents the Indian Basketball Team. He is Passionate and works day and night to be the best player in India. He has achieved every major High level Medal and Award in India.

He began playing basketball when he was 10 years old. He was coached and guided by his father, a decathlon record holder. When he finished his work-outs with his father, his father would tell him to “cool down” by playing cricket or soccer. But he discovered a basketball court near the ground and started to play basketball instead. It was not much of a basketball court as it had a brick surface and there were rims with no nets. He didn’t have a basketball so he instead played with a soccer ball and he loved it! Soon he was playing at the University Basketball Court and he was noticed by a local coach who thought he had the hunger and potential to be great.

TJ Sahi was selected to play for India in 2004 and he began to represent India in International tournaments. He was declared the best point guard in Asia that year and went on to win other awards such as “top scorer”. He has been chosen to represent India since 2004 to play in many international tournaments in Asia and the Middle East, as well as participating in the Commonwealth Games in Australia in 2006. His father passed away several years ago and he continues to play for India and to honor the memory of his father.
